The module

Colour-code by course or role, mark warp length visibly, and inspect shackles, splices and anchor attachment before every launch. Avoid loose coils on the RIB floor.

Deployment

Approach on the planned line, lower the anchor under control, pay out warp without standing in a bight, then stream the buoy. Let the system settle before declaring it laid.

Recovery

Approach into wind or current as appropriate, keep warp forward of the propeller, recover steadily and stop if the line passes under the boat. A tripping line or recovery strop must follow the event’s agreed system and be understood by every crew.
